It begins with an idea...
Each journal is built upon a unique foundation. They all start with a question, thought, or consideration inspired by the things I encounter around me. Whether the inspiration comes from a book, an individual, an event, or the simple ramblings of my own thoughts, they all begin with a single stroke on a piece of paper.
The writing is the most intriguing, and sometimes frustrating part. Getting the right words to correctly convey what I want to share is a rollercoaster of progress. But once the editing is complete, we move on to the fun part: design!
...which turns into a design...
Design is the second half of the creative process; one that has its own unqiue challenges. Instead of staring at a completely blank page, I now have a black page and the things that go on said page, but not the order of how they should be laid out.
The visual creativity is equally as enjoyable as the mental creativity of the writing process. My favorite part is seeing everything come together, nearing its final form. Once complete, we announce it's time for production and open preorders.

When the preorder window is closed, we let our printer know how many journals we want produced.
We work with US-based printer Greenprinter. They focus on providing paper made from recycled materials that's biodegradable, and chlorine-free. They also print with soy and vegetable-based inks that are VOC-free.
Once the journals are printed, they're sent back to us to prepaare for you!

We currently pack each order ourselves with delicate care, ensuring the highest quality materials are used for the best opening experience.
Our goal is to ship the journals out so they will be recieved around the solstice or equinox of each season.
